The main course consists of the Cluide (Blue) (named after the Cluide wood through which the course runs) and the Tara (Red) nines. The Bellinter (Yellow) nine is the back nine of the old course.

St Patrick's Fire
Description

On this par three distance is key. If you come up short you may end up in the front bunker. This bunker feeds around a lot more of the green than you can see from the tee. Be up, as the green is very long.

Gráinne’s Fancy

Drive up the left hand side of the fairway. This opens up the green for the approach. You also have a better view of the greenside bunkers. There is a bunker hidden short right.

Ruadháin’s Curse
Description

Par three with a two tier green. If the flag is on the left hand side you can see all problems in front of you. If it’s on the right and lower tier it’s going to be tucked in behind a bunker. The sloping green can assist you in the sense any ball landing on this slope will roll down to the right.

Sloping Trenches
Description

Hit it down the right. Avoid the out of bounds down the left. If you can get your second shot short left of the green you will have a simple pitch into the perceptive part of the green.

Be up. All the trouble is at the front of the green. If the flag is back right take an extra club.

Banqueting Hall
Description

From the back tee you simply try and get as far through the gap as possible. With your approach shot hit it up the right hand side. Going up the left brings the huge ferns into play.
