David and Margaret your club Captain’s for 2026 would like to extend a warm welcome to all our Member’s and visitors for the 2026 golfing season. We would also like to welcome our President Liam Murphy and Lady President Lucia Farrell and we look forward to working closely with them during the year.
Royal Tara is a member’s club with a strong family tradition, offering a beautiful well manicured parkland course with excellent facilities for all to enjoy.
As your Captain’s we are delighted to invite you to join us for an exciting season of golf, camaraderie, and community. Royal Tara is built on the values of sportsmanship, friendship, and a passion for the game, and we are proud to be part of such a wonderful group of people.
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting out, Royal Tara offers something for everyone. From competitive tournaments to social events, we’re committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
Royal Tara is not just a golf club/course but a community and a family. In our club friendships are built, memories are created and shared passion brings us together.
To our outgoing Captain’s Maura and Michael we express our gratitude for their dedication and leadership in 2025.
The Annual Diary for 2026, detailing the main and programmed events is now available to all members. We look forward to your continued support in Competitions, Social Gatherings and Special Events. You are all invited to use our excellent facilities, including the Practice Area, our Golf Suite and excellent Restaurant.
Our Golf Suite is expertly managed by our Club professionals Johnny Byrne and Stephen Barry. This facility is a great addition to our Club and we encourage all our members to avail of this service.
To all our members who serve on Committees and take the time to help keep our Club up there with the best Golf Clubs, your continued work is very much appreciated.
A sincere thank you to all our Team Managers for your dedicated support. We wish all our teams participating in National and Regional competitions the very best of luck for the coming year. All support from members is greatly appreciated at these events.
We are immensely grateful for the continued support of our Sponsors and their loyalty and support for Royal Tara Golf Club. We extend a warm welcome to our new Sponsors and look forward to fostering strong relationships through golf, event hosting and other occasions where we can explore other experiences with business partners or guests.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the Course, Office, Pro Shop, Restaurant and Bar Staff. The personal interaction with members, guests and visitors is a proud standard of Royal Tara, and we thank each staff member for their dedication.
We wish our Junior Captain’s Conor Giles and Hayley Dunne the very best for the golfing year and we would ask all our members to give the Juniors whatever support they can during the year.
Finally to all Royal Tara Members both long standing and new we wish you all a very successful year on our fairways and most importantly good health and happiness for 2026. We look forward to meeting as many of you as possible throughout the year either on the course or in the Clubhouse.
